By accessing or using the My Location Ledger Services (the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use our Services.
You may need to create an account to access certain features. You agree to provide accurate information and to maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials, including any passkey you generate for securing your data.
The Services consist of a mobile app that records your location in an encrypted format using a private key stored in a Secure Enclave on your device. This encrypted data is written to a blockchain (currently the World Chain blockchain, but may include any EVM-compatible blockchain).
Your data is encrypted and can only be decrypted using your private key, which is held solely on your device and secured with a passkey you generate. Alibi Ledger, LLC cannot retrieve or access your location data without your explicit permission.
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to data privacy and blockchain transactions. You may not:
All content, trademarks, software, and technology are the property of Alibi Ledger, LLC or its licensors. A utility patent has been filed for the technology underlying the Services. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to access and use the Services.
You retain ownership of content you submit but grant Alibi Ledger, LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, host, and display it solely to operate the Services.
Your location data is under your control as described in Section 4. You can request a copy or deletion of your data via the settings > GDPR section of the app. For more details, refer to our Privacy Policy.
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Use of the Services involves blockchain technology, which carries inherent risks including but not limited to transaction irreversibility, network congestion, gas fees, smart contract vulnerabilities, and cryptocurrency volatility. Alibi Ledger, LLC is not responsible for any losses arising from these risks.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alibi Ledger, LLC and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Services.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Alibi Ledger, LLC from any claims or damages arising out of your use of the Services or your violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your account or access at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through binding arbitration in Wyoming, USA, before resorting to courts. Exclusive venue for any litigation shall be in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, USA.
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
